Description
SkinCeuticals Prevent C E Ferulic 30ml is a triple antioxidant high potency treatment with 15% L-Ascorbic Acid, 1% alpha-tocopherol and 0.5% ferulic acid.
Unique combination of antioxidant such as vitamins C and E and ferulic acid, this serum brings an optimal antioxidant efficiency to give a younger, smoother, and firmer aspect to the skin. It also protects the skin from external aggressions to prevent signs of premature aging, reducing the aspect of wrinkles, fine lines and dark spots, while stimulating the collagen production.
Rapidly absorbed, the serum is efficient during 72H. Fragrance-free.
Directions for use
In the morning, on clean skin, place 4-5 drops in the palm of the hand. Apply with fingertips to the entire face, neck and décolleté.
Indication: Anti-aging care.

Brilliant serum

This made my skin brighter, hydrated and reduced the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Skin felt softer and firmer. Absorbs well and my suncream and foundation went on smoothly afterwards.
I would recommend this serum.

A real eye-opener for me - skin care can work!
I recently received a free sample of this and, though there was no obligation to write a review, like it so much I thought it fair to write one anyway.
I've got skin that tends to dryness and, as a middle aged woman who hasn't always taken the best care of my skin, it's showing its age! Put simply, it's lost much of its elasticity, pretty much all of its glow and it's beginning to show fine lines in all the places you'd expect (across my forehead; between the brows; under my eyes; from my nostrils to the edges of my lips and those crows have been stamping heavily at the outer corners of my eyes). Though the lines are mercifully still fine (I know I don't deserve it), they are beginning to bother me and so I've started trying facial serums. I've tried all sorts from all kinds of big and not so big brands but have struggled to find one I like - until now.
Most of the ones I've tried before have had at least a couple of flaws. They've left my skin feeling oily; they've stung my face when I applied them; they've smelled horrible; I've had to use 15 or more drops to cover my face and neck; one of them actually stained my skin and the neckline of the top I was wearing! Most significantly, none of the ones I've tried before have made any noticeable difference.
The sample I received was the SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic Vitamin C Antioxidant Serum and it's a WOW! To start with, it suggested that I use it just once a day, in the morning. Believe me, you can still feel the effects by the time you're going to bed. It suggests that you only use about 5 drops. I didn't think that could possibly be enough so put a drop at a time around all the relevant places and gently patted it into place. They were right - a little really does go a long way! Much further than any other serum I've tried. It might be more expensive to buy initially but I think it probably works out as a very prudent purchase.
It covers well but isn't oily. There's a very light, fresh scent but it's only noticeable on my fingers after I've applied it. It sinks in quickly and, from the first use onwards I could feel a difference that has grown over the time I've used it. My dry areas immediately felt less dry (and now don't feel like that at all). My skin felt firmer, less saggy if you know what I mean. Though I won't suggest I was immediately glowing, my skin did look noticeably more moist without looking greasy. It doesn't irritate my skin at all, even in the particularly sensitive areas around my eyes. Over the couple of weeks I've used it, I think (though this might just be wishful thinking) that the dark circles below my eyes are less noticeable. The crows feet are definitely less obvious, as are the fine lines across my forehead. I've actually really enjoyed using it and, given that I don't have much of a skin care routine, that's a pretty big deal for me.
From the tone of my review, I don't suppose it will be a surprise when I say I don't use makeup. Having said that, my skin has felt so smooth and supple after each application that I'm pretty sure makeup would go on easily and probably more effectively than I've found in the past.
I'm reaching the end of my sample but have already added it to my Christmas and birthday gift wish list. I'm afraid that I don't think I could bear to gift it to someone else if family or friends asked for it. It really is so good that I'd end up keeping what I'd bought and buying something else to gift. Not to put too fine a point on it, I love this stuff - it's been a great pleasure to use it and a real revelation to me. Try it for yourself - if your skin is anything like mine, I'm sure it will surprise you too (and in the best possible way)!

Pleasant to use, gives good results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleasant texture and smell. Very watery so runs aways when you put it on. Doesn't sting or irritate the skin. A little goes a long way. Gives good results and brightens the face. I use it to reduce discolouration after post acne marks and make my grey face more lively.
