Before exposure to the sun, apply generously (e.g. an average of 4 sprays on a child's forearm, reducing this amount reduces the level of protection).
Reapply frequently to maintain protection, especially after perspiring, swimming or toweling off.

Don't stay in the sun too long, even if you're using a sunscreen.
