Description
Seresto Pest Control Collar Big Dogs Over 8kg is a fast and durable solution against external parasites of these types: fleas, ticks and lice. Effective after application, the collar provides long-lasting (7 to 8 months) pest control neutralizing pests by contact before they can bite or sting.
Perfectly dosed with active ingredients (Imidacloprid and Flumethrin), the collar is harmless for human and animal health while being effective against external parasites.
The Seresto Collar for big dogs is water resistant, odorless and has a safety mechanism that prevents strangulation of the dog in the event of snagging. The collar can be used from the seventh week of life of the dog and only with dogs over 8 kg.
Directions for use
Put the collar to the dog's neck up to 8 months in a row.
Indication: Antiparasite, dogs. Collar of 70cm length.
Composition
Imidacloprid (4,5g), Flumethrin (2,03g).

Effective but needs safety measures in place
Seems to be effective. However I will not buy again. My cat somehow managed to get caught in it and started choking. Luckily I was at home, but I had to cut it off! There needs to be some sort of emergency release in case of these things. I was terrified he was going to choke to death and I hate to think what would have happened if I wasn't her..

Do not buy!!!! after 4 weeks he started to scratch a lot and it didn't help against ticks either, waste of money.

Not working
Have used in previous years it worked however this year ticks are attaching . It has been a waste of money this time around and my dog is scratching the collar area constantly so will be using another product from now .

Shockingly bad
Recommended this collar as "the best" in tick and flea repelling, so I bought one.
It was applied as per instruction, not immersed in water and worn constantly for several weeks.
However, ticks still attached themselves to my dog, including behind his ears and under his neck, they exactly where the collar is worn!!!
I contacted seresto, but alas they reiterated the proper use of it!!!
Seriously, it's a collar how difficult is it to apply!!! I again contacted with batch number, etc, but again the response was, " has it been fitted properly" and "I'll contact our service division".
Several weeks later no response, and still taking ticks of my dog!
Shockingly bad product, doesn't work and company not that interested.
Don't buy this collar, other products available that seem to work much much better.
Avoid this in the same way you would a tick!!!!

Do not work after three weeks both my dogs had ticks one had embedded in my dogs ear.so not jumped on and died

Dog collars for ticks
Very bad i purchased two for both my dogs after wearing for approximately three weeks one dog had a small tick the other dog had a full grown tick embedded in his ear on emailing the company they asked for batch number etc which I don't have as I throw the tins away.so they will do nothing very bad service I have always used advantics with no problem

fake product i believe
having used the very same product via my vets at a much higher orice but with emediate great success, these online product suposedly direct from maunfacture they have not worked at all, not even a little. i did complain to supplier but there reply was its not fake. id beware.
