Description
Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara 10ml is a black mascara which instantaneously provides a dramatic, rich and glamorous look.

Directions for use
Slide the brush between the eyelashes, at their base, with a movement of "zig-zag". Stretch the brush to the tip of the eyelashes. If you want to apply a second layer, to avoid packets, wait for the mascara to dry.
For the bottom eyelashes, hold the brush vertically.
Withdraws using a makeup remover.
Tip: do not "pump" the brush into the tube: the air you make it in doing this movement will dry the formula of your volume mascara.

Glad I tried it
Only realised when I went to leave a review the description says a ' over the top brush' , so it is a little tricky to apply. But what I like is that you only need one coat! So great if your a bit rushed for time. Didnt leave me feeling like I have found the best mascara ever, but yeah I probably will buy this again. It's a good one.

Best ever mascara
I just love this mascara. It really builds up my lashes, making them thicker and longer. No other mascara does it for me like this one and believe me I have tried all the others. I tend to use 2 to 3 coats each time, so just runs out a bit too often for me unfortunately.

I am a huge fan of Clinique from the make up to the skin care range. I had been using the mascara which has been discontinued (PLEASE bring it back, it was amazing!) I then and moved on to Lash Power which was actually very good and lasted a whole 4 days when I was in labour with my second baby- high praise indeed! After reading some of the reviews and thought I'd give this one a go, to mix it up a bit and to treat myself. I have to be honest I am very disappointed with this offering. The wand is awkwardly long and and too much product clumps to the wand, it makes for a very clumpy result. Now, admittedly I do have small eyes but decent long lashes. I don't know if this would work better for larger eyes??? I'll let you be the judge of that. Also It does have relatively good staying power, hence the 3 stars, but overall the final result brings the rating down for me.

The only mascara I'll ever buy
Right. This is not like normal mascara. It is very thick, very pigmented and requires a careful hand. But, when it's on right, it's amazing. It makes my lashes look incredibly long and thick. I wholly recommend. The reason I have written this is that, having used this exclusively for many years, spotted the negative reviews and was worried Clinique might discontinue. Please, please don't. When you know what you're doing, this is the best.

Disaster
I have bought this mascara in September 2017 and now I wish I would have choose another brand. Practically speaking I look like a panda with smudgy eyelashes after I apply this. It goes absolutely everywhere, the brush has way too much on, I have to use a tissue before I use it. My lashes look like I smothered them in lard with black ink. All I wanted was a lovely mascara.

Ordered this mascara because of the good reviews and because it was said not to irritate sensitive eyes. In fact yeah, it did not cause any irritation during the whole day but the brush is so bad and holds too much mascara and absolutely doesn't separate the lashes. Wipping mascara off into the tube is imposible cause it causes so much mess . Next time i would choose another product.

Very disappointing
I have loved Clinique for many many years and have used their High Impact and Naturally Glossy mascaras for as long as I can remember. At the make-up counter I was tempted to try their High Impact Extreme mascara, and wish I can turn back time and stick to the original. The formula itself seems good but the brush is a real let down: clumpy, claggy and crust-creating, the brush does not allow for a good look and I find myself having to use and old cleaned mascara brush to refine the look and smooth out the clumps. Stick to the original, only then will you not be as disappointed as I am.

Do not buy!
This was one of four Clinique products I bought. I got the chubby sculpting sticks - the highlighter and the contour; I got the blush palette and then I also got this mascara. I hate it. It clumps all my lashes, the mascara wand and bottle doesn't remove excess mascara off the wand AND it did not give me a 'volumised' look. It made me look like I had three thick eyelashes. If I buy a product, I expect It to work. The wand does not work. It throws on a stupid amount of mascara onto the lash making it hard to groom them. Lashes should be defined and separated but this product does nothing of the sort. Absolutely hate this product and it's put me off buying another Clinique mascara. The other face make up products I bought however, are amazing and look great. It's just a shame this one doesn't :(
