Guigoz Ultima Lait 2eme Âge De 6 à 12 Mois 780 g is a follow-on milk specially designed to meet the nutritional needs of babies aged 6 to 12 months, including those born by Caesarean section, as part of a progressively diversified diet.
This formula was developed based on the synergies between the components of breast milk and the microbiota of infants. It contains :
- 6 of the main oligosaccharides present in breast milk.
- Bifidobacteria B.lactis and B.infantis.
- Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) from the Omega 3 family, which contributes to the normal development of infants' eyesight, and alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), which contributes to normal brain development.
- Vitamins D, A and C contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.
- Iron, which plays a role in normal cognitive development.
- Calcium for normal bone growth.
Palm oil free.
Complies with NF V90-001 standard.
- Clean your work surface and wash your hands thoroughly. Use a clean, rinsed and dried feeding bottle and accessories.
- Refer to the table of recommended quantities for the exact volume of water to pour into the bottle. Pour in the water and allow to cool (max. 40°C) if desired.
- Add the exact number of measures of powder corresponding to the volume of water. Flatten each scoop on the rim.
- Place the measuring spoon in its holder in the box and close it.
- Close the bottle with the ring and teat. Roll the bottle between your hands to lower the milk powder, then shake it up and down until completely dissolved.
- Check the temperature on the inside of your forearm.
Age | Water (ml) | Number of measures | Number of bottles per 24h | Number of bottles per 780 g can |
---|---|---|---|---|
6 months to 1 year | 210 | 7 | 3 | 24 |
Dosage: one level scoop (4.5 g) in 30 ml of water. An inappropriate amount of powder can lead to dehydration or deprive your child of adequate nutrition.
The frequency of feedings and the quantities to be prepared are average indications.
The volume and number of bottles should be adjusted by health professionals to the needs of each child. From 6 months onwards, your baby's diet will become more varied (cereals, fruit, vegetables). Consult your doctor for further information.
For some infants, any change in formula may lead to transient changes in stool frequency and consistency, which is nothing to worry about. If in doubt, talk to your health care professional.
Breast milk remains the ideal, natural food for every infant. However, if you cannot or do not wish to breastfeed, the medical profession will recommend an infant formula for your child. Don't change without asking your doctor's advice.
Follow-on milk is part of a diversified diet for infants aged 6 months and over, and cannot be used as a substitute for breast milk during the first 6 months of life.
The decision to introduce complementary foods even before the age of 6 months should only be taken on the advice of a health professional.
For your baby's good health, it is important to follow the preparation instructions below:
- Prepare the bottle just before feeding. Use mineral or spring water suitable for infants. To avoid lumps, reconstitute the bottle with lukewarm water and use a large-diameter bottle.
- We do not recommend using a microwave oven to cool the water, as there is a risk of burns. Instead, use a bain-marie or bottle warmer.
- Use only the measuring spoon contained in this box.
- It's best to give the bottle within an hour of preparing it if it's at room temperature, and within half an hour if it's lukewarm. Don't hesitate to throw away the rest of an unfinished bottle.
- Always hold your baby securely while he or she takes a bottle, to avoid the risk of choking. As soon as your baby is old enough, offer him a cup instead of a bottle.
- Store the closed tin in a cool, dry place, no longer than 3 weeks after opening.
