Description

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+M 40ml is a triple-correction anti-imperfection treatment recommended for severe and recurring blemishes, blackheads and post-acne marks.
Its formula acts against the predominant bacteria at the root of acne:

  • helps soothe and reduce blemishes
  • moisturizes the skin,
  • helps prevent the appearance of red and brown marks,
  • promotes skin regeneration,
  • it helps restore the skin's balance over the long term.

Anti-relapse, it maintains the benefits of anti-acne treatment, even 3 months after discontinuation.

Its moisturizing, mattifying gel-cream texture is an excellent make-up base.
Non-greasy finish. Non-comedogenic.

Tested on acne-prone skin, even on severe blemishes.

Directions for use

Apply morning and/or evening to cleansed face.
Avoid the eye contour area.

Use alone or in conjunction with anti-acne medication.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fab moisturiser [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a member of the La Roche posay community I was kindly gifted the Effaclar duo+M anti-blemish corrective gel moisturiser for test and review 🔹 This anti-breakout moisturiser gently exfoliates to help prevent breakouts, it contains key ingredients including new phylobioma active, niacinamide, proceradtm, mannose, salicylic acid & LHA. 🔹 This moisturiser is suitable for blemish-prone, oily-combination skin. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy feeling on the skin and provides great hydration. This moisturiser makes my skin feel smooth, hydrated and soft. It’s great for sensitive skin and it hasn’t caused any irritation to my skin either.

The gel is great for blemish prone combination skin and absorbs well, without leaving any greasy residue. It has helped clear my blemishes and kept my skin moisturised. I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin since I started using it.

It is said to be a powerful solution for blackheads, blemishes and post-acne marks, and works to deliver rapid visible results even as quick as just 8 hours. I have old marks on parts of my face, as well as blackheads predominantly in the middle of my face and around my nose. I believe this moisturiser has helped my pores a great deal through the control of sebum production and protection of my skins microbiome. The innovative Phylobioma active ingredient, which is powered by microbiome science, is a game changer. The overall formula stands out to me as it covers so many variables: It is non-comedogenic, reduces spots, provides 24-hour hydration, and is hypoallergenic and dermatologically tested. It is suitable for those with acne prone and sensitive skin, and it is also compatible with prescribed treatments like Benzoyl Peroxide. I like the other key ingredients such as Niacinamide, Salicylic Acid, Zinc, Procerad (a patented ceramide) and Glycerin, that work to fade stubborn marks, exfoliate, control shine, and provide a hydrated environment for the skin. I am impressed at low maintenance this moisturiser is and how balanced my skin looks and feels after using it both day and night. If you want a moisturiser that is low maintenance but provides targeted solutions — this may be worthy contender, especially if you deal with imperfections and/or oiliness.

The anti blemish corrective gel has a dual action formula which keeps skin hydrated and my blemishes under control. I like how lightweight the gel moisturiser is and how quickly it absorbs. The key active ingredients like niacinamide and Salicylic Acid have helped to reduce the appearance of blemishes. I have noticed a few improvements in the texture of my skin. It feels smoother, firmer and there are less fine lines or redness. The gel has soothing properties, which keep my skin feeling calmer. The non comedogenic formula doesn't clog my pores at all my skin feels clearer each time I use it. This product has the versatility I like. It can be used as both a moisturiser and as a targeted treatment. It has fit nicely into my daily skincare routine.
