Description

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+M 40ml is a triple-correction anti-imperfection treatment recommended for severe and recurring blemishes, blackheads and post-acne marks.
Its formula acts against the predominant bacteria at the root of acne:

  • helps soothe and reduce blemishes
  • moisturizes the skin,
  • helps prevent the appearance of red and brown marks,
  • promotes skin regeneration,
  • it helps restore the skin's balance over the long term.

Anti-relapse, it maintains the benefits of anti-acne treatment, even 3 months after discontinuation.

Its moisturizing, mattifying gel-cream texture is an excellent make-up base.
Non-greasy finish. Non-comedogenic.

Tested on acne-prone skin, even on severe blemishes.

Directions for use

Apply morning and/or evening to cleansed face.
Avoid the eye contour area.

Use alone or in conjunction with anti-acne medication.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for oily skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Effaclar Duo+M: Anti-Blemish Corrective Gel Moisturiser from the lrp community to test out. This anti-breakout moisturiser, hydrates and corrects skin, with results visible after just 8 hours. It lightweight texture means it absorbs quickly into skin, leaving no greasy, residue feeling on the skin. It contains many active ingredients which work together to help prevent breakouts, exfoliate pores and help fade post acne/ dark spots. Using it twice a day was too much for my skin at first so I only used it in the evening which worked better for me. At first it made my skin breakout but as my skin got used to it, the breakouts stopped and the moisturiser helped clear them up. My post acne marks seem less noticeable and I look forward to seeing how they appear after continued use. My skin felt hydrated for hours after applying. I really like that it can be used on the back and chest too. A really great moisturiser for oily/ spot prone skin.

I’ve been using this cream for around 3 months now and I love it. I’m already on my second tube! It is a nice formula that sinks straight into your skin and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy or shiny. It smells nice just like all the other La Roche Posay products and with this a little goes a long way so the 40ml bottle is a nice size and will last you a while. I would definitely recommend with product.

I have noticed such an improvement in the appearance of my skin. I have a lot less blemishes and any marks from previous spots have diminished. I’ve been using this for about a week now and will be purchasing once I’ve run out. I’d really recommend to others who have experienced blemishes frequently. It also have a nice and subtle smell. It is very lightweight and absorbs very quickly. 100% recommend!!!

This makes it an ideal daily skincare solution for those concerned about imperfections. I like that it is the new Phylobioma active, it effectively targets excess sebum and reduces the growth of blemish. Light wight texture.

Contains procerad which helps with evening out skin tones and red/brown marks. Salicylic Acid help skin turnover. Niacinamide helps fade out dark spots and pigmentation. Overall has improve the appearance of my face over time. Hydrating blemishes and pigmentation are less prominent. Highly recommend this Effaclar Duo+v

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for my oily skin [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always had oily skin from when I was a teenager, to current times, and it doesn't get any easier looking for products that help you to keep blemishes at bay, or, if you are unfortunate to get them, clear them up quickly and without irritation. This is definitely one of the best I have ever tried, if not the best. I've only been using it for a few days but already, I have seen an improvement in my skin. I have been using this every morning and evening after cleansing with the Effaclar Foaming Gel (which I also recommend). After first use, my skin felt less oily and looked less shiny, and after a couple of days or so, most of my blemishes had gone, along with the blackheads on my nose. This product specially targets blackhead, blemishes and post acne marks, including stubborn, severe imperfections. It is also an exfoliator, to unclog congested pores. Tested on all skin tones, including those prone to acne Can be used on face, back and chest Has 24hr hydration Suitable for all ages The information I read says that it helps prevent recurrence for up to 3 months. I have yet to see that for myself, but so far it seems to be working so well for me. I just wish this was about when I was younger. I also love the fact that it absorbs really quickly and leaves my skin looking and feeling less oily, and more moisturised.
