Description

La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ M Replenishing Balm 400ml is a balm that offers a triple repair to skin prone to atopic eczema of the whole family (from birth).

The new exclusive AP+M (Aqua Posae + Microresyl) technology combined with soothing niacinamide offers a triple action:

  • Immediate soothing,
  • Anti-scratching,
  • Space out severe drought crises for anti-relapse efficacy.

The texture of this balm ensures a non oily and non sticky finish for a quick dressing. The skin is comfortable and soothed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soothes my irritated skin I am really enjoying using this Lipikar AP +M cream. The skin on my shoulders and tops of my legs can become irritable. This cream has such a lovely soothing effect on it and helps to stop that itchy feeling. It coats my skin in a silky layer thar gives my skin a nice glow to it. It almost feels like a protective layer is on my skin. Although it looks thick it's easy to rub into my skin. It's dermatologically tested and is suitable for sensitive skin, even newborns. It's formulated for dry skin and can provide up to 48 hours of hydration. The AP +M is the technology that is used in this cream to rebalanced skin to stop dry skin from flaring up. I love that it's fragrance free to.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing!!! Nothing else like it! I first used this cream for eczema in 2015. I was dubious as it was not cheap. But if you have eczema, you know that you are desperate for steroid free relief! After one month, I had no more flare ups and actually stopped using it. I then bought it for a friend's son with the same condition, as I was confident in the results. I then decided to introduce the cream into my family's routine for long lasting moisture. However, the most recent and amazing discovery of this cream for me, is the relief it provides for my itchy scalp. Nothing has e en stopped it from itching in the crown. Where I have scratched till it has bleed and I have severe hair loss. Over the last two weeks of using this on my scalp. I have had no flare ups! I am ever so thankful for this cream and will never stop using it again. ( plus everyone's skin is so soft now!)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Need to be in a tub I have had to decant this cream into a jar as it’s too thick to be in a pump bottle. It would be better if the container was changed to a tub/jar or a tube for ease of use.

I have had eczema all my life and then had a dermatology consultation with La Roche-Posay who recommended this cream and the results have been quite remarkable! Have not had a to use the steroid ointment since- shame the Doctors at the NHS can't take note! I gave this 4 stars as the pump system stops working 3/4 of the way through the cream. I can see this has been mentioned a few times in other reviews so unsure why LRP have not managed to resolve this issue?

As an eczema sufferer (for my whole life) I’ve tried endless products, over the counter and prescribed. I’ve been using this product along with the Lipikar cream wash for a week and haven’t had to use an steroid creams or ointments. My eczema has completely cleared up and my skin is soft and mostly itch free! I have really high hopes for my skin with continuing their use. Have been using both for face and body! Excellent results. Can’t put a price on your skin if you’re a sufferer like me! I wish I took before pics to share as a comparison.
