Description
Medela 2 Nipple Formers allow an optimal preparation to breastfeeding, for flat or inverted nipples.
These nipple-formers exert a gentle pressure which forces the nipple out, and thus allow the baby to take it in mouth, to start breastfeeding easily and without difficulty.
They fit comfortably and snugly with their soft silicone back.

Bigger than I thought but comfy
I've only been using these for about a week, so a bit early to say how good they are, but they're not particularly uncomfortable to wear. That said, they're bulkier than I thought, so I'm only wearing them around the house, wouldn't go outside with them on.

Good for antenatal prep.
I bought these a while back after seeing an IBCLC consultant mention them in relation to flat nipples. They’ve worked to put pressure at the base of my nipple so I can achieve a protruded nipple and some of that seems to be working for a longer timeframe too. Hopefully that means the adhesions that have held my nipples in are beginning to break down. Some women have said they’re quite obvious under clothes, but honestly, I’ve just been wearing them all the time haha! I noticed wearing them initially (though my bra was ill fitting too!) but worked my toward wearing them for longer spells and can now wear them for 8hrs easily and comfortably. Given that they help create a nipple for me, these will be brilliant to wear between feeds when I try to establish breastfeeding in a few weeks. After a devastating failed BF journey 3 years ago, these give me hope and confidence to try again!

Helped the breastfeeding journey
Purchased these on recommendation from a friend after a frustrating week of no milk and no latch after bringing baby home. Am using along side nipple shields, have made breast-feeding possible.
Certainly not discrete in a bra but comfortable enough to wear 8+ hrs right out of the box.

I would highly recommend these nipple formers. They do exactly what they’re supposed to! I’ve been using them for a couple of weeks now and they definitely are working. I also bought the microwaveable bags which are so easy to use and last for 20 uses.

Really comfortable to wear - so much so that by about day 4 I had completely forgotten j was wearing them and had them in for about 7 hours! Nipples were extended hugely, but sadly they went back to being flat about within the hour. Hoping it's just because they need more time and more wears out of them to stay out but there's little information offered by Medela on this.
