Before use, be sure to remove the paper ring around the bundle.
Light one end of the bundle with a match or lighter.
Let it burn for a few seconds, then gently shake the flame to create an ember.
Hold the lit bundle over a fireproof container to collect the ashes. The sage produces a fragrant smoke.
Fumigation can now begin.
When finished, extinguish the bundle by tapping it gently in the container to extinguish the embers.
Open all the doors and windows to let the smoke out and freshen the air.
You can store your bundle for later use. Make sure it is completely extinguished and cooled before storing it in a dry place.
