Optinooz Nasal Irrigator 2 Syringes

1. Clean your hands and then wash the syringe and the silicone tip.
2. Fill the syringe with saline solution or saline solution.
3. Attach the silicone nasal tip to the syringe.
4. Place the child in a sitting position. Older children can lean over the sink or basin. Gently introduce the solution into one nostril.
5. Repeat this step in the other nostril.
6. Gently wipe baby's nose. If the child is older, encourage him to blow his nose gently.

• Cleaning of the nasal cavities (to be validated by a healthcare professional): It is recommended to use a sterile saline solution (0.9% sodium chloride) or physiological serum. Regular water is strongly discouraged as it can lead to pain and damage to the nasal mucosa. Volumes of saline solution per nostril:
  • Between 4 and 6 months: 10 to 15 ml.
  • Between 6 and 12 months: 20 ml.
  • Between 12 and 24 months: 20 ml.
  • From 24 months: 20 to 30 ml.

Frequency:

• 1 to 2 times a day as a preventive measure.
• 3 to 6 times a day in case of nasal congestion.
