Royal Canin Urinary S/O 1.5 kg is a dietary food for adult cats designed to dissolve struvite stones and reduce recurrent struvite stone formation. It has urine undersaturation or metastabilization properties to dissolve struvite stones, reduce their formation and/or urine acidification properties.
- Dissolves struvite stones.
- Urine dilution makes the urinary environment unfavorable for struvite and calcium oxalate stone formation.
- Helps reduce the concentration of ions, which contribute to crystal formation.
- The formula is low in magnesium.
It is advisable to seek veterinary advice before using or extending the period of use.
Use from 5 to 12 weeks for struvite stone dissolution, and initially up to 6 months if recurrent struvite stone formation is reduced.
Leave water available at all times.
