Description
SkinCeuticals Cleanse Simply Clean Gel 195 ml is a foaming gel cleanser for the face. Its sulfonic acid formula stimulates exfoliation, tightens pores and effectively removes excess sebum and waterproof make-up. Skin is cleansed, make-up-free and purified.
Directions for use
Twice a day, gently massage a dab of product onto damp face. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean cloth.
Indication: Facial cleanser.

New favourite
I got Simply Clean a little over a week ago now and have been using it twice a day ever since. I think this might be a new favourite cleanser. A little really does go a long way. It lathers well (which I like in a cleanser), it doesn’t have a strong scent, it feels gentle but effective and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight. My skin is clear and even so I’m definitely very happy with this recommendation and purchase!

Super gentle
This is a must for my skin collection. My go to cleanser, it’s thick and gentle with a beautiful scent. Lathers up perfectly and keeps my skin moisturised but still removes all impurities. It’s gentle so I use it in between my glycolic cleanser.

Clean skin

100% reccommend
I was wary about spending this amount of money on a cleanser but I was advised too as part of my Skin+Me routine and was desperately trying to improve my acne prone skin. I have to saw i have really noticed a difference in my skin. I love the feel of this cleanser, the lather is lush. More importantly my pores seems smaller and my skin is brighter, less pimples and super smooth and soft. I never thought I'd be on my way to better skin but here I am :)

Caused spots
Firstly, I think it's important to mention that whilst I am acne-prone, I don't get spots unless I've specifically used something that doesn't sit right with my skin.
After a few months of using this - I developed small spots all over my previously clear face. To the extent that my mum commented, to ask what happened to my face :( . When I stopped using this cleanser - the spots started to subside within days & had fully cleared within a week -_-
I would suggest to Skinceuticals that it would be helpful to know which products are / are not suitable for acne-prone skin. On first glance, this cleanser seems suitable because it has hydroxy-acids in it (which is meant to be a key ingredient to treat acne-prone skin) - so it's not obvious until you review each individual ingredient that's in it.

I don't think this is for blemish-prone / sensitive skin (and that should be made clear)
I've been using this for around 6 months, and initially I was sold because it made my skin look brighter. However over time - I started to realise that the texture of my skin was getting gradually worse & I was breaking out in small painful spots on my forehead, cheeks & jawline. It occurred so gradually that I couldn't identify what the offender was.
I decided to switch to a cleanser with salicylic acid in it & my skin was immediately better the next day. The spots were no longer painful and had pretty much subsided.
From the ingredients list, I can't tell what exactly was causing the skin irritation, but I can see there are a lot of oils & fruit extracts in here which might be the issue.
Secondly, I think the use of hydroxy / fruit acid 'blend' isn't very clear - especially as not everyone is well versed in skincare. It needs to be made clear what the main exfoliating ingredient(s) consists of. Which would help people to identify whether this is right for them (especially if they are using other treatments), without having to google every single ingredient listed.

The best!
I only bought this cleanser around 2 weeks ago and I was praying it was worth the money I spent on it. I have oily skin with acne so finding a great cleanser is essential. This is AMAZING! It lathers up into a light foam and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry. It is making my skin brighter and I think it’s helping to clear up my acne. Despite the price you only need a small pump to get a good lather. Skinceuticals, you have won me over! This cleanser is brilliant and I highly recommend it to anyone with acne-prone skin.

I’ve found the one!!!
Finally I’ve found a cleanser that is perfect for my combination t zone / dehydrated skin. I’ve noticed a visible improvement to my skin within a month of use - and started to notice results within the first week. Great for blackheads and leaves skin feeling revitalised. Will definitely be buying again! You only need one pump and it lasts ages.
