Description
Clinique High Impact Mascara Optimal Impact 7ml - Colour: 01 Black is a mascara that pads, enhances and extends your lashes in one gesture.
Its pure and intense color enhances instantaneously your look.
Submitted to ophthalmology tests.
Fragrance free.
Directions for use
Start the application at the root of the lashes and work your way up to the tip, stirring the brush.
Repeat the gesture until the desired intensity is obtained.
For lower lashes, hold the brush vertically.
Do not immerse the brush several times in the mascara tube: the air that would enter could dry it.
To avoid clumps, allow the mascara to dry between each coat.
Removes with a makeup remover.
If eye irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a physician.
Indication: Eye make-up.

New formula is awful
After using this mascara for years, I was confused when suddenly it became so difficult to remove. Nothing else in my routine has changed. After reading some recent reviews here, I can see that other people are having the same issue as me. Its such a shame as the mascara was perfect before! I still like the way it applies etc, but taking it off is horrendous and I never feel fully clear of it, which can lead to clumping the next day. I think it should have been pointed out that it was a new formula as I would have got a sample size to try. Really annoying for the brand-loyal.

Not good
It's a real shame. As other reviewers mention, this used to be a great product and was my go to mascara for years. The formula seems to have changed recently and is very clumpy to apply now. Whereas before I could remove easily with the rest of my makeup it now needs a separate make up remover to get it off. More effort and expense that I'm not interested in, especially now that the product itself is so poor. Will be looking for an alternative brand.

I have to mirror some other comments - what happened to the old formula... It was perfect and now it is too heavy, clumpy and claggy...

The formula has changed
I have used this mascara for many, many years as it didn't irritate my eyes, flake and was easy to remove. My last few purchases I noticed a disappointing difference, but it was subtle. I thought that maybe it needing replacing as I wasn't using it everyday. But my brand new purchase of High Impact mascara is awful. It sort of sticks to my eyelashes and feels uncomfortable and is impossible to remove. I am so unhappy as I now have to search for another brand of mascara.

Stays on the whole day!
I got this mascara about 6 weeks and have been using it daily. I layer it over a lash primer. I cannot recommend this product enough, adds volume, curls and stays on the whole day! No panda eyes, no smudge. I just love it. At the end of the day, I just wash it off with a bit of warm water and slightly pressure the lashes to make it easier to remove. This mascara is absolutely great!

Amazing
I received this mascara as part of a gift at Christmas and I have to say that it has to be my favourite mascara so far. I have tried so many and I always find that my eyelashes clump together at the ends because my eyelashes are quite long and by the end of the day feel a little itchy. This goes on really easy, feels so light on my lashes and coats each lash evenly. It also feels comfortable to wear all day. Definitely recommend

Impossible to remove
Have always used this mascara and for some reason with this current one, I am unable to remove it. It does not state it is waterproof and I am so confused. Very disappointed as I will now have to find a new mascara.
